The PERFORMANCE of the 3rd European Comic-Strip Festival, Strasbourg, will take place on Friday 4th June from 1-6pm.

• The goal: as every year, the Micro-Publishers space organises a performance requiring every participant to realise three original comic boards in five hours taking inspiration from a board presented by the Patron -this year, F’Murrr- and to pervert, redraw, cut out, rewrite, smear, etc, etc, essentially anything goes provided the basis of the work remains that of the board proposed by the Patron, who selects it from among his personal work.
• The performance is the highlight of Friday afternoon 4th June. Bringing together professional authors or amateurs and open to the public from 3pm. The boards are sold at internet auction for charity.
• Every year this event has been great fun and is the time when every participating author discovers something  individual particular, producing such specific work in such a timeframe. As with all artistic performaces, it’s not about the search for perfection, but an experimental exercise in fun and creativity.
• The crazier it gets, the more we laugh!
