Comic-strip competition : the results!
Friday afternoon the jury met in the restaurant de la Bourse to elect the winners of the two competitions organised for the festival.
There were 13 entries from authors without a publishing credit.
After a first viewing the jury quickly realised that one entry stood out from the rest, so was selected unanimously as the best.
The winner of the grand prix 2010 is: Julien Cayssials. (Receives 200 euros and diverse Bandes Dessinées related goodies.)
In the category of 14-16 year olds there wasn’t as concensus at the first pass. So the members of the jury had to each argue their case.. After much discussion chose the work of Laura Bacher for le Prix des Jeunes 2010.
She wins atrip to the Angoulême festival including accomodation care of Caisse d’Epargne.
The jury were :
- Mr. Jean-François Cellier, author of « Alice », with F. L’Homme published by Delcourt in january 2010
- Mr Yann Quignon, of the médiathèque André Malraux, Strasbourg
- Mr Luc Naegelen, bookseller (librairie Kleber)
- Mr Jean-Charles Andrieu de Levis, critic with l’Avis des Bulles
- Mr Lionel Muller, member of ABD.
The session was led by Florence Lieval from librairie Farfafouilles.
The winners work will be presented during the week-end of the festival, in the Spirella tente and around, and very soon – on this website!

For 2 days you will be able to meet around 90 authors, visit several exhibitions, attend seminars, participate in various other attractions and win numerous prizes, enjoy a free concert or two, buy new or second-hand books and merchandise. Without forgetting of course to eat and drink under the green foliage of the piazza.
