From now on the dates are fixed: the first wednesday of the month.
You can now fill out your year planner with the key dates so as not to miss ABD’s popular social evenings.
One minor detail: you have to be a member of the ABD association … or hosting with one.
This monthly meeting gives everyone the opportunity to present their favourite albums on a theme allocated the month before. Themes such as “colour”, “kings and queens” and “birthday” have already been explored. Depending on the members interests, a range of comic-strip gems and rarities are passed around and presented, from traditionnal Franco-Belge to American comics and Manga. Sometimes authors decide to attend to join the discussion as well as share their latest work.
If you would like to join us, the next theme is “snow” for the first wednesday in February. The location of the meeting will be given a few days beforehand.
So there you have it a good reason to become a member of ABD!!!
